Eating without borders, or in the zone - week 2.


Since the beginning of the zone, I put my bathroom scale in the garage not to see it and to avoid the temptation of weighing myself over and over again. So, when I was out to work today, I decided to give it a try. My weight has shifted by 14lb in the negative direction… I was shocked. I actually thought it was a fluke, tried it again. 4 times. yeap. still the same number. On the other hand, it could have been much better if I had the ability to exercise as well… Since last Friday, I have been waking up at 3.30am in the morning because of excruciating pain in my back and my right leg… My physical therapist suspects an SI joint inflammation at this point, because my symptoms have completely changed from being good old disk problems. The exercises I was doing to alleviate my disk issues seem to have aggravated the SI joint even more. So we removed all of the exercises, and I am left with two stretches I am supposed to do on the right side only to correct the shift. I am off to see my general physician to figure out a way to sleep better, and to get suggestions as what can expedite my recovery…

I spent last night watching crossfit workouts on youtube… I miss it.
